What to bring, what to ask, and how to make a supplier discussion useful for your quarry.

Leimeng Group is exhibiting at the 140th Canton Fair, October 15–19, 2026, at booths 20.1L34–35 and 20.1L42 in Area D, Guangzhou. Quarry operators, aggregate producers, mining contractors and equipment distributors can meet our team to discuss individual crushers and complete crushing and screening plants.

If you are visiting the fair to source equipment, a useful conversation starts with what you need to produce.

A target such as “300 tonnes per hour” is a starting point. The supplier also needs to understand the feed material, required product sizes and conditions at your site. Those details help turn a general equipment enquiry into a proposal you can evaluate.

Here are seven points to work through during your visit.

      1. Bring the details that shape equipment selection

You do not need a finished engineering plan to start a discussion. A short project brief is enough:

      • Material: the rock or mineral you process.

      • Maximum feed size: the largest pieces entering the proposed equipment.

      • Required capacity: your target throughput in tonnes per hour.

      • Final products: the sizes and specifications you need to sell or use.

      • Location and site conditions: available space, utilities and access.

Material photos are helpful. If you have test results, a site drawing or a current process flow diagram, bring those too.

For an existing quarry, explain what you want to improve. Frequent wear-part changes, too much oversize material and inconsistent output lead to different discussions.

      2. Ask how each machine fits into the process

Leimeng Group supplies equipment for feeding, crushing, screening, sand making, washing and material transfer.

The range includes jaw crushers, hydraulic gyratory crushers, cone crushers, impact crushers, VSI sand makers, vibrating screens, feeders, washing equipment and belt conveyors.

A useful question at the booth is: “Why does this equipment combination suit our feed and final products?”

Ask the team to explain the proposed stages, where material is screened and what happens to oversize material. This helps you understand the role of each machine before comparing individual models.

For manufactured sand projects, include the required grading, particle shape and washing requirements in the discussion.

      3. For an upgrade, start with the production problem

If you already operate a crushing plant, bring an equipment list and recent production figures.

Where does material build up? Which machine stops most often? How frequently are wear parts replaced? Which product sizes are difficult to keep within specification?

These details make an upgrade discussion more useful than simply requesting a larger crusher.

The existing feeder, screens, conveyors and return-material arrangement all need consideration. Ask which equipment can remain, which connections need modification and what work would be required during the changeover.

A clear scope helps you compare the equipment price with the wider cost of the upgrade.

      4. Compare fixed, mobile and modular arrangements against your site

Leimeng offers fixed plant equipment, tracked mobile crushing and screening plants, wheeled mobile plants and modular solutions.

Explain how your project will operate. Will the equipment stay at one quarry? Move between working areas? Transfer to another project after a few years?

Then discuss access roads, installation space, power supply and the practical arrangements for moving or assembling equipment.

Ask what site preparation is needed for each option. The proposal should make clear what is supplied with the plant and what you need to arrange locally.

      5. Make after-sales support part of the buying discussion

Before ordering, find out how your team will be supported once the equipment arrives.

Leimeng Group provides installation guidance and personnel training, along with free remote assistance for problems encountered during use. If an issue cannot be effectively resolved remotely, we will arrange for personnel to visit the site and investigate.

Discuss the training arrangements, site responsibilities and applicable on-site service terms for your project.

Spare parts deserve a separate conversation. Ask for the recommended initial spare-parts list, identification details and current supply lead times. Confirm which items are included in the quotation and which are optional.

Your operators and maintenance team should know how to request help and how to order the correct replacement parts.

      6. Compare proposals with the same scope

Two quotations can look similar while covering different equipment and responsibilities.

Before comparing prices, check whether both proposals include the same feeding, screening, conveying and supporting equipment. Also review installation requirements, initial spares and service arrangements.

Ask what material conditions and product specifications the proposed output is based on. Keep assumptions visible, particularly when material testing or site information is still incomplete.

Founded in 2009, Leimeng Group operates four production bases covering more than 350,000 m². Its scope includes individual machines, complete crushing and screening solutions, and engineering, procurement, construction and operation—EPC+O—services for aggregate projects.

Tell us how much of the project you need a supplier to handle so the proposed scope matches your requirements.

      7. Meet us with one clear project question

You may be planning a new quarry, replacing a crusher or looking for a supplier for your local market. Start with the question that matters most to you.

“Can we use our existing screens?”

“What would we need to produce manufactured sand?”

“How will our operators be trained?”

Bring your current information, even if some details are still undecided. We can discuss what is known and what needs further assessment.
